![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Mother's Grove This grove is where the massive White Oak, The Tree of Life, resides. It is the largest and most astounding tree for hundreds of miles. The tree has long limbs that have grown heavy over the years and touch the ground. Yet, it remains strong. Around the tree the vegetation remains a bright vermilion green. Animals inside the grove which stretches a half mile on either side of the tree, are shielded from harm.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Catori Spring Catori Spring meaning Soul Spring, is a natural creek only a foot deep. It stretches a few yards before the water sinks back into the earth. The animals tend to drink this water because it is extremely clean and quenches their thirst in just a few sips. Also, the neighboring area around the stream tends to be full of life. Flowers bloom most of the year here besides the dead of winter.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Molimo Caves Molimo means “Bear Walking into Shade”. Molimo caves are located in a scattered forest with small openings here and there. The caves are scattered about. Most were created from the space between the roots of trees and the ground after massive trees have fallen to the earth. There is dense moss that covers the ground and the caves giving this part of the woods a calm and comforting feel.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Liwanu Forest These woods are very dense and hard to travel through quickly. The bears enjoy the mixed woodland because it gives them plenty of cover and different species of trees to forage in. The deciduous and coniferous trees are evenly dispersed. There are sycamores and hickories to pines like the white pine and short-leaf pine.

Now there is a new stage of life. The land is rich with berries and other fruits and nuts that the bear eats. There are also dandelions, clovers, and neighboring oaks that give the bears acorns, all of which the bear eats.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Ahote Dens Ahote is where a majority of the cougars tend to sleep. The dens are found in the crooks and crannies of a nearby mountain. They appear as just holes in the middle of rocks, but a closer look will reveal it is actually a resting place. This area has sparse trees. The occasional pine dots the landscape.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Kajika Brush Kajika is one of the reasons the cougars chose to claim the western part of the land. They prefer dense brush over dense forests. The brush is dry during most of the warm months. None of the plants are larger than about eight feet. The bushes and grasses make an easy place for the cougar to sneak around and hide if there is danger.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Bemossed Ridge Bemossed meaning “walker” was named when the Native Americans continuously spotted the cougars traveling the ridge. The big cats like this rocky incline because it allows them to see over the nearby areas and spot the movement of prey or enemies. The rocks are hard to climb, but the cougar is well equipped at covering this ground in quick and agile motions.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Motega (2 sub-boards) These are the lands of the Native Americans. Here they live in pitched tents decorated in berry juice and other stains they have discovered through time. They are very humble with the wildlife unless the wildlife disturbs them. They have great respect for the animals. They will not kill unless hungry and even then they will use every bit of the hunted animal for their survival. Some are even known to befriend individual animals.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Mingan Dens The wolf dens are different from the bears dens. They live more in burrows dug out by wolves before them. Others are under large boulders. The woods are thick so the young pups born are safe to explore during their youngest weeks.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Enli Woods Enli is a boreal forest. The main plant life includes the spruces and firs. The weather is a bit cooler in these woods than the others in the winter. Hardwoods do not thrive in the conditions come winter. The trees are dense in some areas, but in others they are spread out. It gives the wolves a place to run after the larger prey like elk and deer. This area is always covered in snow in the winter.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Moki Woods This is a small wood with lots of pine species. The pine needles are a good part of the deer’s diet. When the pines go through a phase called “needle-cast” every few years they drop dead needles that make excellent material for the deer to bed down in during the day.

The swamp itself provides shelter and a fairly warm place to live in.

They have docked their ships and began construction to make a new town.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Humita The Native Americans have claimed this as their land. They have planted in this field corn and they will often rotate their crops through the season. They do not appreciate wildlife munching on their food. However, it is very tempting for the deer and bears which also leads in hungry cougars and wolves looking for a deer or rodents eating the corn.

They have completely stripped this piece of land of trees to use the lumber on construction of their huts and cabins among other things. It seems devastating, but already a new stage of life is starting sprout up from the soil. There are remains of the pieces and bits of trees lying about. Chansomps is not far from the settlers. Settlers could possibly be spotted still traipsing the land.

![[ ]](http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/Lark_Pash/acorn1.jpg) | Mukki This is where the animals breed during each of their breeding seasons. This area has a mixture of habitat that all the four major animals require. It sustains their needs long enough to breed then wander back to their territory. This land can be quite dangerous depending on which species is breeding. The bucks become quite aggressive here for example.
